Biography

Ikenna Ndugba joined HTV in June 2025 as point guard, as part of the team's rebuilding process after a difficult season in Pro B.

Trained in the United States, he played in the NCAA before moving on to the G-League, then distinguishing himself in Switzerland with Vevey Riviera Basket, where he showcased his offensive and creative skills.

At HTV, he is expected to bring speed, creativity, aggressiveness, and an increased offensive dimension to the point guard position.

Playing style

• A fast point guard and good dribbler, he is capable of creating opportunities for his teammates while also taking on offensive responsibilities.
• A very good passer and active defender, he averaged 6.0 assists while competing with the Nigerian national team at FIBA AfroBasket 2021.
• Varied experience: NCAA, G-League, Europe — he arrives at HTV with a wide range of skills acquired in different contexts.

Career

• University: Studied and competed in the NCAA, notably at Elon University and Bryant University.
• G-League: With the Greensboro Swarm and then the Santa Cruz Warriors, professional experience in the United States.
• Switzerland: 2023-24 season at Vevey Riviera Basket, where he posted very good statistics (≈ 18.5 pts, 5.0 reb, 6.7 ast) to establish himself as one of the leaders.

National team: Played for the Nigerian team (e.g., AfroBasket) and delivered strong performances.
